Sundell Sculptures

Born into a family of artists, Gail Jones Sundell was also destined to become an artist. Because her family owns and operates Colorado Alabaster Supply in Fort Collins, Colorado, (ColoradoAlabaster.com) it was logical that the beautiful native stone would become her primary medium.

Legends, spiritual life and family ties of the Native Americans have always been her favorite subjects. She draws inspiration from childhood stories, research of culture and prayer.

Gail has been awarded several notable commissions, one of which is installed in the Governor's Residence, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The stones she transforms in spirit and legend have become personal treasures of collectors throughout the world.
