The Story of the Ollas and the Rug

Sometimes I feel the urge to let the stone tell me its story.  This one wanted to be a Navajo Granny and her grand daughter, holding 2 pots, or ollas, but Navajos usually made plain colored pots without the designs of their Hopi neighbors.  The Navajo are famous for their beautifully designed rugs though, so I figured that a Hopi Granny probably was admiring this Granny's beautiful rugs, and didn't have the cash to pay for one, so this Granny offered to trade her beautiful rug for two of the Hopi Granny's equally beautiful pots.  That's the story of the ollas and the rug and is this Granny's story and she's sticking to it.          17 lbs.         Size with base - 8 3/4 x 10 x 9.5
